2. Scope

This Policy applies to goldenelixirevents.com, contact and booking forms, email/WhatsApp communications, and our interactions on social media related to our luxury mixology and premium events services.

3. Personal data we process

Where applicable, we process: identification and contact data (name, email, phone), event information (date, location, number of guests, preferences), professional data (company/title), communications (emails/DMs), and audiovisual content (images/video/testimonials) where there is consent or another lawful basis.

4. How we obtain personal data

Directly from you (forms, email/WhatsApp, at events), from our social media channels, and, where applicable, from analytics/advertising tools (cookies, pixels) as described in Section 8.

5. Purposes of processing

(i) Responding to inquiries and quoting; (ii) managing bookings/contracts and event operations; (iii) customer service; (iv) sending commercial communications (where permitted by law or with your consent); (v) analyzing site usage and improving services; (vi) security and legal compliance.

GDPR/UK GDPR (optional): Legal bases may include performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; consent; legitimate interests (e.g., B2B marketing and limited analytics); legal obligation.

6. “Sale” or “sharing” (CPRA)

We do not sell personal data. If we engage in cross-context behavioral advertising with third parties (e.g., Meta), we disclose it here and offer opt-out mechanisms (see Section 12).

7. Who we share personal data with

With processors providing hosting, CRM/automation, email/SMS, payment gateways, analytics, and IT support; and, where necessary to execute an event, with operational partners (venues/vendors) under confidentiality and privacy obligations. We may also share data to comply with legal requests or to protect rights.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for (a) essential site functions, (b) analytics (e.g., GA4), and (c) marketing/remarketing (e.g., Meta Pixel). You can manage preferences via our cookie banner and your browser settings. If we adopt Global Privacy Control (GPC), we will honor it.

9. International data transfers

If your data is hosted or accessed outside your jurisdiction, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under GDPR). Please contact our privacy contact with any questions.

10. Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated and for applicable legal retention periods (e.g., contractual/accounting records). Inactive leads are purged after 12 months unless a legal obligation or documented legitimate interest requires otherwise.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, logging, vendor vetting). No system is 100% infallible, but we work to protect your information.

12. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may exercise access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection/opt-out, restriction, and withdrawal of consent.

  • Marketing: each email includes an unsubscribe link; for SMS/WhatsApp we indicate the STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE mechanism.

  • CPRA (CA) – optional: right to opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13. Children

Our channels are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Our mixology services involving alcohol are for 21+. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

14. Audiovisual content and testimonials

We may capture and use images/video from events based on consent from the client/host and, where applicable, attendees, solely for agreed purposes (e.g., portfolio, social media), respecting image rights and removing content where legally required.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal or operational changes. We will publish the current version with the update date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
